The ingredients are simple:
1 bunch kale
drizzle of olive or canola oil
kosher salt to taste
Preheat oven to 350. Meanwhile, rinse your bunch of kale
Dry the kale with papertowel or salad spinner
I tried it raw. Didn't like it much.
Cut the stems & spines off the kale leaves
After all spines and stems are removed, tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces (chips)
Put kale chips in a bowl & toss with a drizzle of canola or olive oil
Lay in a single layer on a cookie sheet, then bake at 350 for 12 min or so. Don't let them get too brown, because then they get bitter.
After baking in the oven, sprinkle with kosher salt
and ENJOY your CRUNCHY GOOD Snack! We love the loud crunch it makes! We polished off the whole batch in 5 minutes.
