Get ready to dye some Easter eggs! I know a lot of you guys are going to be boiling eggs to dye and after keeping them for some time, you will want to eat them so I want to show you the way to perfectly boil an egg (according to my mom and Martha Stewart). The egg will have a nice yellow yolk that is not greenish- gray when you bite into it. View the steps below to learn how to avoid this mishap. Happy Easter!
Place eggs in pot, single layered. Fill pot with cold water, covering eggs by 1 inch. Cook on medium high until water boils.
Once water comes to a rolling boil (like this picture), put lid on pot and remove from heat.
After the 12 minutes are up, transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once eggs are cool, drain the water. Use eggs right away or put in fridge for dying later!
